For those of you who believe that electric vehicles aren't ready for the roads or that they don't measure up well to the cars currently available you haven't seen the latest offering from NASA. This electric scooter is very robust and comes in two different trim lines. They are the SPR and UPR models.
The Small Pressurized Rover model is basically an electric scooter that has a pressurized module or room attached to it. There is no need to wear any protective clothing such as a spacesuit while driving the scooter in this configuration. If you do want to leave the scooter and explore your surroundings, you can slide into attached spacesuits in under ten minutes with minimal pressure loss. If you're on a tight budget, you can opt for the Unpressurized Rover model, which consists of a spacesuit, attached to a chassis.
While driving this scooter, you can exercise which in turn charges the battery so there is no need to plug in anywhere and wait for a charge. The top speed for this scooter is on the slow side at about ten kilometers per hour. These scooters are highly recommended for those senior citizens that have everything and are afraid of nuclear winters.
Shown below are the front and back views of the SPR.
